Here the earthly hall is likened to the starry sky. It is telling that the courtyard is compared to the firmament: the wedding feast of those born of the gods reflects celestial beauty. The marriage of the descended gods, in its very radiance, reveals the heavenly. Thus the verse shows the splendor of the celebration; and the adornment of the hall answers the greatness of those being joined.
