Here a wondrous marvel keeps Draupadi's purity untouched. It is telling that with each day she becomes a virgin anew: by divine grace her purity is never diminished, and the union does not stain her. This is a sign that Draupadi is no ordinary wife but a goddess descended, whose purity is unbreakable, and that this whole marriage is a holy, incomparable sacrament, not an occasion for temptation. The Lord guards the purity of His devotee and reveals the sanctity of what He Himself has arranged. Thus the verse shows Draupadi's unchanging purity; and this marvel removes every shadow from the union.
