यस्मिन् धृतिर् अनुक्रोशः क्षमा सत्यं पराक्रमः ॥
नित्यानि पाण्डवश्रेष्ठे स जीयेत कथं रणे ॥
येषां पक्षधरो रामो येषां मन्त्री जनार्दनः ॥
किं नु तैर् अजितं संख्ये येषां पक्षे च सात्यकिः ॥

"In whom steadfastness, compassion, patience, truth, and valor are ever constant -- in the best of the Pandavas -- how could he be defeated in battle? Those whose ally is Balarama, whose counselor is Janardana [Krishna] -- what indeed remains unconquered by them in battle, they on whose side Satyaki also stands?"

Here the highest guarantee of invincibility is the presence of the Lord. It is telling that Janardana [Krishna] is named the Pandavas' counselor: behind them stands the Lord Himself, and so 'nothing is unconquered by them in battle.' Herein lies the root of their invincibility: not merely in strength of arm, but in Krishna's protection. Yudhishthira's virtues are also telling: where there is truth and compassion, there victory comes from God. Thus the text reveals that the surest ally is the Lord; and a camp shadowed by Krishna is unassailable.
