Here the argument of right is joined to the argument of strength. It is telling that Vidura links two grounds: the invincibility of their alliance and the legitimacy of their inheritance -- and so calls for 'dealing with them properly.' It becomes clear that both prudence and dharma lead to the same end: giving the Pandavas their due. Thus the text reveals the concord of strength and right; and both call for reconciliation rather than war.
