एते चान्ये च बहवः पितृराजसभासदः ॥
अशक्याः परिसंख्यातुं नामभिः कर्मभिस् तथा ॥
असंबाधा हि सा पार्थ रम्या कामगमा सभा ॥
दीर्घकालं तपस् तप्त्वा निर्मिता विश्वकर्मणा ॥

"These and many others, who sit in the hall of the king of the ancestors, cannot be counted by name and deed; not cramped is that hall, O Partha, delightful, moving at will, made by Vishvakarman, who performed austerity [for it] for a long time."

Here it is said that the architect himself made the hall through "long austerity." It is significant that even heavenly craftsmanship is won by tapas: greatness is never given without labor and self-mastery. Thus the scripture reveals asceticism as the price of all greatness; and further comes who enters this hall.
