आच्छाद्य सुहृदां वाक्यैर् मनोज्ञैर् अभिनन्दिताः ॥

Here the warriors clothe themselves in modest brahmana garb. It is significant that even the Lord descends into a simple guise: where the task demands, the greatest assumes a humble form. Thus scripture shows that wisdom does not disdain concealment and humility for the sake of a good outcome; and further on -- the fearsome appearance of those setting out.
