译文

When their talk had ended, the royal sage, at the proper time, addressed the mighty Rama, best of the Bhrigus, with sweet and meaningful words: 'O Rama, O lord, this daughter of the king of Kashi is my granddaughter through my daughter. Hear her matter as it truly is, O expert in resolving affairs.' Rama answered her: 'Let the essential thing be told.' Then she approached Rama, who blazed like fire. The fair one bowed her head to Rama's feet, touched them with her hands like lotus petals, and stood before him. Filled with grief, her eyes clouded with tears, she wept and took refuge in the descendant of Bhrigu, the protector able to grant shelter.
