प्रीतियुक्तं च हृद्यं च मधुराक्षरम् एव च ॥
कालयुक्तं च चित्रं च स्वतया चाभिभाषितम् ॥
धर्मराजस्य तद् वाक्यं निशम्य शिनिपुंगवः ॥
सात्यकिर् भरतश्रेष्ठ प्रत्युवाच युधिष्ठिरम् ॥

译文
Having heard that speech of the Dharma King — full of love and heartfelt, sweet-sounding, timely and wondrous, spoken from his own soul — the bull of the Shini clan, Satyaki, O best of the Bharatas, answered Yudhishthira.

The king's speech is described as 'prītiyuktaṃ hṛdyaṃ madhurākṣaram… svatayā abhibhāṣitam' — filled with love, heartfelt, sincere from the very soul. It is significant that a request for a grave task is clothed not in command but in loving words. The verse teaches that true authority moves not by compulsion but by warmth of heart: a word born of love and spoken at the right time stirs more surely than any order, for it answers in the listener's heart with love in kind.
