वम् क्तस् सुतो नाब्रवीत् किं चिद् अप्य् सौ
श्रुतं चाश्रुवत् कृत्वा प्रायाद् ये सात्यकिः
सैन्ये ता युक्तो म्लेच्छानाम् निर्तिनाम्
साद्य णे त्तो युयुधानम् योयत्
द्रोणो ऽपि थिनां श्रेष्ठः पाञ्चालान् पाण्डवांस् था
भ्यद्र संक्रुद्धो वम् स्था ध्यमम्

译文

Thus addressed, your son said nothing at all, and, treating what he had heard as though unheard, went forth to where Sātyaki stood; joined with a great army of unyielding Mlecchas, he engaged and fought, girded for battle, with Yuyudhāna. And Droṇa, foremost of warriors, charged, enraged, upon the Pāñcālas and Pāṇḍavas alike, taking a moderate pace.
