तं भीमसेनो नामृष्यद् अवमानम् अमर्षणः ॥
स तस्मै व्यसृजत् तूर्णं शरवर्षम् अमित्रजित् ॥
ते शराः प्रेषिता राजन् भीमसेनेन संयुगे ॥
निपेतुः सर्वतो भीमाः कूजन्त इव पक्षिणः ॥
हेमपुङ्खा महाराज भीमसेनधनुश्च्युताः ॥
अभ्यद्रवंस् ते राधेयं वृकाः क्षुद्रमृगं यथा ॥

译文

That insult Bhimasena could not endure, being intolerant of it; he, the conqueror of foes, swiftly loosed a shower of arrows at him. Those arrows, shot by Bhimasena in battle, O king, fell on every side, terrible, like shrieking birds. Golden-feathered, loosed from Bhimasena's bow, they rushed at Radheya like wolves upon small game.
