जिघांसुर् धार्तराष्ट्रश् च श्रान्तेष्व् अश्वेषु फल्गुनम् ॥
कवचेन तथा युक्तो रक्षार्थं सैन्धवस्य च ॥
येन ब्रह्मास्त्रविदुषा पाञ्चालाः सत्यजिन्मुखाः ॥
कुर्वाणा मज्जये यत्नं समूला विनिपातिताः ॥
येन प्रव्राज्यमानाश् च राज्याद् वयम् अधर्मतः ॥
निवार्यमाणेनास्माभिर् अनुगन्तुं तद् एषिताः ॥

译文

'And [he by whom,] eager to kill Phalguna [Arjuna] when the horses were weary, Dhartarashtra was thus equipped with armor [by Drona] for the protection of Saindhava [Jayadratha]. By whom, a knower of the brahmastra, the Panchalas headed by Satyajit, striving to overcome him, were uprooted root and branch. And [by] whom, when we were being unlawfully driven from the kingdom — though we tried to hold him back — he chose to follow them [the Kauravas].'
