तत्त्ववित्तु महाबाहो गुणकर्मविभागयोः ।
गुणा गुणेषु वर्तन्त इति मत्वा न सज्जते ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

tattvavit tu mahābāho guṇakarmavibhāgayoḥ |
guṇā guṇeṣu vartanta iti matvā na sajjate ||

Translation

“But, O mighty-armed one, he who has realized the Absolute Truth knows well the distinction between action under the influence of the guṇas (karma) and divine action (bhakti). Understanding that it is merely the senses, contaminated by the guṇas, that seek enjoyment in the objects of the guṇas, he does not become attached to such action.”
