एवं स तान् समाश्वास्य व्यासः पार्थान् अरिंदमान् ॥
एकचक्राम् अभिगतः कुन्तीम् आश्वासयत् प्रभुः ॥
जीवपुत्रि सुतस् ते ऽयं धर्मपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः ॥
पृथिव्यां पार्थिवान् सर्वान् प्रशासिष्यति धर्मराट् ॥
धर्मेण जित्वा पृथिवीम् अखिलां धर्मविद् वशी ॥
भीमसेनार्जुनबलाद् भोक्ष्यत्य् अयम् असंशयः ॥

vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca
evaṃ sa tān samāśvāsya vyāsaḥ pārthān ariṃdamān ||
ekacakrām abhigataḥ kuntīm āśvāsayat prabhuḥ ||
jīvaputri sutas te 'yaṃ dharmaputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||
pṛthivyāṃ pārthivān sarvān praśāsiṣyati dharmarāṭ ||
dharmeṇa jitvā pṛthivīm akhilāṃ dharmavid vaśī ||
bhīmasenārjunabalād bhokṣyaty ayam asaṃśayaḥ ||

Translation

Vaishampayana said: 'So, having consoled them, the Parthas, subduers of foes, Vyasa, having come to Ekachakra, consoled Kunti, the lord.' Vyasa said: 'O you with living sons, this son of yours, Yudhishthira, son of Dharma, will rule over all kings on earth, the king of dharma; having conquered the whole earth by dharma, the knower of dharma, self-controlled, will possess it by the strength of Bhimasena and Arjuna, without doubt.'
