Translation

"The steadfast delighted in the extremes; they did not delight in the middling ways. They say that reaching one extreme is happiness, while the interval between the two extremes is sorrow. The Pandavas, together with Krishna, offer you their respectful greetings, and, declaring themselves well and unharmed, say: soon you will see the Pandavas -- healthy, having attained all their aims, lords of the whole world, their foes struck down, and clothed in glory." Thus consoled, Kunti, overwhelmed by griefs over her sons, having mastered the darkness born of confusion, replied to Janardana: "Whatever is beneficial for them, O mighty-armed Madhusudana, whatever you judge fit, that, O Krishna, you should do."
