Here the reward of the righteous is shown: Yama's abode abounds in every good. It is significant that the lord of judgment grants the virtuous not punishment but the fullness of delight: recompense for dharma is generosity, not deprivation. Thus the scripture reveals the goodness of justice toward the righteous; and further comes the host of royal sages who dwell with Yama.
