Narada said: "In it, the holy royal sages and the stainless brahmin sages, dear one, joyfully attend upon Yama Vaivasvata."

Here Yama's abode is peopled by holy kings and seers, and "joyfully" at that. It is significant that before the lord of death the righteous do not tremble but rejoice: a clear conscience does not fear judgment. Thus the scripture reveals that Yama's judgment is a joy for the good; and further their great host is named.
