तो ऽन्यद् नुर् दा वेवत् सुहास्वनम्
भीसेनो णे क्रुद्धो हार्दिक्यं वायत्
थैनं ञ्चभिर् बाणैर् घा स्तनान्तरे
भीमो भीलो राजंस् दुर्मन्त्रिते
भोजस् तु क्षर्वाङ्गो भीसेने मारि
क्ताशो वोत्फुल्लो व्यभ्रा णाजिरे

tato 'nyad dhanur āya vegavat sumasvanam ||
bhīmaseno raṇe kruddho rdikyaṃ samarayat ||
athainaṃ pañcabhir bāṇair ājaghāna stantare ||
bhīmo bhīmabalo jaṃs tava durmantritena ha ||
bhojas tu kṣatasarvāṅgo bhīmasenena riṣa ||
raktāśoka ivotphullo vyabhrājata raṇājire ||

रक्ताशोकः इव उत्फुल्लःraktāśokaḥ iva utphullaḥlike a red ashoka in bloom; like a blooming red ashoka
व्यभ्राजत रणाजिरेvyabhrājata raṇājireshone [on] the battlefield; shone upon the field of battle
Traducción

Then, taking up another bow, mighty and very loud-twanging, Bhimasena in battle, enraged, held back the son of Hridika. Then Bhima, of terrible strength, O king, struck him [in] the chest with five arrows -- [all this] by your ill counsel indeed. And Bhoja, [with] all his limbs wounded by Bhimasena, O venerable one, shone [on] the battlefield like a red ashoka in bloom.
