संजारुधिरश् चाजौ सात्वतेषुभिर् र्दितः
प्रलन् नुर् त्सृज्य न्यतत् स्यन्दनोत्तमे
सिंदंष्ट्रो जानुभ्याम् न्नो ऽमिविक्रमः
रार्दितः सात्यकिना थोस्थे र्षभः
स्रबाहोः दृशम् क्षोभ्यम् सारम्
निवार्य कृर्माणं सात्यकिः प्रयौ तः

pracalan dhanur utsṛjya nyapatat syandanottame ||
sa siṃhadaṃṣṭro nubhyām āpanno 'mitavikramaḥ ||

sahasrahoḥ sadṛśam akṣobhyam iva garam ||
nirya kṛtavarmāṇaṃ tyakiḥ prayayau tataḥ ||

Traducción

And, streaming with blood in the battle, worn down by the arrows of the Satvata, staggering, dropping his bow, Kritavarman sank down upon his splendid chariot. He, with lion-like fangs, of measureless valor, wounded by Satyaki's arrows, fell to his knees on the chariot's platform, that bull among men. Having checked Kritavarman -- who was like the thousand-armed Kartavirya -- as unshaken as the ocean, Satyaki then moved onward.
