तं भीमो दशभिर् बाणैः प्रत्यविध्यद् अजिह्मगैः ॥
पुनर् विव्याध विंशत्या शराणां नतपर्वणाम् ॥
कर्णस् तु नवभिर् भीमं विद्ध्वा राजन् स्तनान्तरे ॥
ध्वजम् एकेन विव्याध सायकेन शितेन ह ॥
सायकानां ततः पार्थस् त्रिषष्ट्या प्रत्यविध्यत ॥
तोत्त्रैर् इव महानागं कशाभिर् इव वाजिनम् ॥

Traducción

Bhima pierced him in return with ten straight-flying arrows, and again pierced him with twenty arrows of smooth joints. Karna, in turn, having pierced Bhima with nine arrows between the breasts, O king, pierced his banner with one sharp arrow. Then the son of Pritha struck him in return with sixty-three arrows — as if with goads a great elephant, as if with whips a horse.
