तं भीमो भिर् बाणैः प्रत्यविध्यद् जिह्मगैः
पुनर् विव्या विंत्या राणां र्वणाम्
र्णस् तु भिर् भीमं विद्ध्वा राजन् स्तनान्तरे
ध्वजम् के विव्या साके शिते
साकानां तः पार्थस् त्रिष्ट्या प्रत्यविध्य
तोत्त्रैर् हानागं शाभिर् वाजिनम्

Traducción

Bhima pierced him in return with ten straight-flying arrows, and again pierced him with twenty arrows of smooth joints. Karna, in turn, having pierced Bhima with nine arrows between the breasts, O king, pierced his banner with one sharp arrow. Then the son of Pritha struck him in return with sixty-three arrows — as if with goads a great elephant, as if with whips a horse.
