द्विपाश्वस्यन्दनेभ्यश् क्षितिं र्वे ऽरो
वम् तन् वो न्याद् स्त्रं भूमौ निरायुधान्
था था हि युध्यन्ते योधा ह्य् स्त्रलं प्रति
था था वन्त्य् ते कौवा त्तराः
निक्षेप्स्यन्ति स्त्राणि वानेभ्यो ऽरुह्य ये
तान् नैतद् स्त्रं संग्रामे निनिष्यति मावान्

dviśvasyandanebhyaś ca kṣitiṃ sarve 'varohata ||
evam etan na vo hanyād astraṃ bhūmau niyudhān ||
yathā yathā hi yudhyante yodhā hy astrabalaṃ prati ||
tathā tathā bhavanty ete kaura balavattarāḥ ||
nikṣepsyanti ca śastrāṇi hanebhyo 'varuhya ye ||
n naitad astraṃ saṃgrāme nihaniṣyati navān ||

निहनिष्यति मानवान्nihaniṣyati mānavānwill not kill, the men; will not strike down, the men
Traducción

"Get down onto the ground, all of you, from your elephants, horses, and chariots; thus it will not kill you, unarmed, on the ground. The more the warriors fight against the power of the weapon, the stronger these Kauravas [and the weapon] become. But whoever lays down his weapons and dismounts from his vehicle — that weapon will not slay him in battle."
