य एष वृक्षं तरसावरुज्य; राज्ञां विकारे सहसा निवृत्तः ॥
वृकोदरो नान्य इहैतद् अद्य; कर्तुं समर्थो भुवि मर्त्यधर्मा ॥
यो ऽसौ पुरस्तात् कमलायताक्षस्; तनुर् महासिंहगतिर् विनीतः ॥
गौरः प्रलम्बोज्ज्वलचारुघोणो; विनिःसृतः सो ऽच्युत धर्मराजः ॥

वृकोदरः न अन्यः इह एतत् अद्य कर्तुं समर्थः भुवि मर्त्यधर्माvṛkodaraḥ na anyaḥ iha etat adya kartuṃ samarthaḥ bhuvi martyadharmāthat is Vrikodara [Bhima]; no other on earth, of mortal nature, is now capable of this;
यः असौ पुरस्तात् कमलायताक्षः तनुः महासिंहगतिः विनीतःyaḥ asau purastāt kamalāyatākṣaḥ tanuḥ mahāsiṃhagatiḥ vinītaḥand that one who went out before, lotus-eyed, slender, with the gait of a great lion, well-mannered,
गौरः प्रलम्बोज्ज्वलचारुघोणः विनिःसृतः सः अच्युत धर्मराजःgauraḥ pralambojjvalacārughoṇaḥ viniḥsṛtaḥ saḥ acyuta dharmarājaḥfair, with a straight, bright, handsome nose, who withdrew -- that, o unfaltering one [Balarama], is the king of Dharma [Yudhishthira];

अनुवाद

"That one who, swiftly tearing up a tree, at once turned it against the confusion of kings -- that is Vrikodara; no other on earth, of mortal nature, is now capable of this. And that one who went out before, lotus-eyed, slender, with the gait of a great lion, well-mannered, fair-skinned, with a straight, bright, handsome nose -- that, o unfaltering one, is the king of Dharma."
