शयनासनयानानि विविधानि महान्ति च ॥
वैडूर्यवज्रचित्राणि शतशो भाजनानि च ॥
रूपयौवनदाक्षिण्यैर् उपेताश् च स्वलंकृताः ॥
प्रेष्याः संप्रददौ कृष्णो नानादेश्याः सहस्रशः ॥

Here the abundance of the gifts shows the Lord's generosity. It is significant that Krishna sends not sparingly but in superabundance -- by the hundred and by the thousand: the Lord's grace is boundless, as He Himself is. The giver is the very master of all riches, and so His gifts are royal. Thus the scripture shows Krishna's generosity, and the impoverished Pandavas are once again surrounded by plenty through His grace.
