युधिष्ठिर उवाच
परवन्तो वयं राजंस् त्वयि सर्वे सहानुगाः ॥
यथा वक्ष्यसि नः प्रीत्या करिष्यामस् तथा वयम् ॥

Here the son-in-law answers the father-in-law's delicacy with humility. It is telling that Yudhishthira surrenders himself to Drupada's will: one who is respectful does not act willfully but entrusts himself to his elder. Here is a mutual humility, in which each honors the other above himself. Thus the text reveals the harmony of love and respect; and agreement is built by the yielding of both sides.
