तान् निवेश्य ततो वीरो रामेण सह केशवः ॥
ययौ द्वारवतीं राजन् पाण्डवानुमते तदा ॥

Here the Lord, having secured the welfare of His devotees, departs. It is significant that Krishna leaves only "having settled them" and "with the consent of the Pandavas": He does not leave His own until He has established them in well-being. Here is the Lord's care, carrying His concern for His devotees through to completion. Thus the scripture shows that Krishna secures the happiness of His own before departing; and His unseen protection remains with them even in separation.
