एतत् श्रुत्वा मुनिः ध्यानम्etat śrutvā muniḥ dhyānamhaving heard this, the sage—into deep thought
अगमत् क्षुभित-इन्द्रियःagamat kṣubhita-indriyaḥsank, his senses stirred,
तस्य एव च आम्र-वृक्षस्यtasya eva ca āmra-vṛkṣasyaand of that very mango tree
छायायाम् समुपाविशत्chāyāyām samupāviśatsat down in the shade;
