व्युष्टायां तु वरारोहे रजन्यां पापकर्मकृत् ॥
न हि मोक्ष्यति पार्थात् स प्रविष्टो ऽप्य् अमरावतीम् ॥
श्वः शिरः श्रोष्यसे तस्य सैन्धवस्य रणे हृतम् ॥
समन्तपञ्चकाद् बाह्यं विशोका भव मा रुदः ॥

लिप्यंतरण (IAST)

vyuṣṭāyāṃ tu varārohe rajanyāṃ pāpakarmakṛt ||
na hi mokṣyati pārthāt sa praviṣṭo 'py amarāvatīm ||
śvaḥ śiraḥ śroṣyase tasya saindhavasya raṇe hṛtam ||
samantapañcakād bāhyaṃ viśokā bhava mā rudaḥ ||

प्रविष्टः अपि अमरावतीम्praviṣṭaḥ api amarāvatīmeven having entered Amaravati [Indra's city]; even were he to enter Amaravati
श्वः शिरः श्रोष्यसे तस्यśvaḥ śiraḥ śroṣyase tasyatomorrow you shall hear of his head; tomorrow you shall hear of his severed head
सैन्धवस्य रणे हृतम्saindhavasya raṇe hṛtamof the Saindhava, carried off in battle; of the Saindhava, taken in the fight
समन्तपञ्चकात् बाह्यम्samantapañcakāt bāhyambeyond Samantapanchaka [Kurukshetra]; beyond Samantapanchaka
विशोका भव मा रुदःviśokā bhava mā rudaḥbe free of grief, do not weep; be free of sorrow, do not weep
अनुवाद

"Once the night has passed, O fair one, the villain shall not escape Partha, even were he to enter Amaravati. Tomorrow you shall hear of his head, the Saindhava's, carried off in battle beyond the bounds of Samantapanchaka. Be free of grief, do not weep."
