श्वो निरीक्षन्तु मे वीर्यं त्रयो लोका महाहवे ॥
धनंजयार्थं समरे पराक्रान्तस्य दारुक ॥
श्वो नरेन्द्रसहस्राणि राजपुत्रशतानि च ॥
साश्वद्विपरथान्य् आजौ विद्रविष्यन्ति दारुक ॥

अनुवाद
"Tomorrow let the three worlds behold my valor in the great battle — shown for Dhananjaya's sake in the fight, O Daruka. Tomorrow thousands of kings and hundreds of princes, with horses, elephants, and chariots, will flee in battle, O Daruka."

"Dhanaṃjayārthaṃ... me vīryam," "My valor — for Dhananjaya's sake": the Lord displays His might not for Himself but for His devotee. The three worlds are called as witnesses to what God is ready to do out of love for His servant. It is telling that the universe is summoned to witness not Krishna's glory but His love for Arjuna. The verse teaches that the Lord's greatness is revealed in serving His own: He shows His strength before the face of all worlds not for Himself, but for the one dear to Him — and in this, not in self-assertion, divine love shines forth.
