अद्य मे क्षिप्रहस्तस्य क्षिपतः सायकोत्तमान् ॥
अलातचक्रप्रतिमं धनुर् द्रक्ष्यन्ति कौरवाः ॥
मत्सायकचिताङ्गानां रुधिरं स्रवतां बहु ॥
सैनिकानां वधं दृष्ट्वा संतप्स्यति सुयोधनः ॥
अद्य मे क्रुद्धरूपस्य निघ्नतश् च वरान् वरान् ॥
द्विर् अर्जुनम् इमं लोकं मंस्यते स सुयोधनः ॥

लिप्यंतरण (IAST)

adya me kṣiprahastasya kṣipataḥ sāyakottamān ||
alātacakrapratimaṃ dhanur drakṣyanti kauravāḥ ||
matsāyakacitāṅgānāṃ rudhiraṃ sravatāṃ bahu ||
sainikānāṃ vadhaṃ dṛṣṭvā saṃtapsyati suyodhanaḥ ||
adya me kruddharūpasya nighnataś ca varān varān ||
dvir arjunam imaṃ lokaṃ maṃsyate sa suyodhanaḥ ||

शब्दशः अर्थ

अद्य मे क्षिप्रहस्तस्यadya me kṣiprahastasyatoday [of] me, swift-handed; today of me, swift of hand
क्षिपतः सायकोत्तमान्kṣipataḥ sāyakottamāncasting the finest arrows; hurling the choicest arrows
अलातचक्रप्रतिमम्alātacakrapratimamlike a wheel of fire; resembling a wheel of fire
धनुः द्रक्ष्यन्ति कौरवाःdhanuḥ drakṣyanti kauravāḥthe bow the Kauravas shall behold; the bow the Kauravas shall behold
मत्सायकचिताङ्गानाम्matsāyakacitāṅgānām[of those whose] bodies are strewn with my arrows; [of those] whose bodies are strewn with my arrows
रुधिरम् स्रवताम् बहुrudhiram sravatām bahublood, flowing abundantly; blood, flowing in abundance
सैनिकानाम् वधम् दृष्ट्वाsainikānām vadham dṛṣṭvāseeing the slaughter of the soldiers; seeing the slaughter of the soldiers
संतप्स्यति सुयोधनःsaṃtapsyati suyodhanaḥSuyodhana shall grieve; Suyodhana shall grieve
अद्य मे क्रुद्धरूपस्यadya me kruddharūpasyatoday [of] me, terrible in aspect; today of me, terrible in form
निघ्नतः च वरान् वरान्nighnataḥ ca varān varānand smiting the best of the best; and slaying the choicest of the choice
द्विः अर्जुनम् इमम् लोकम्dviḥ arjunam imam lokam[with] two Arjunas this world; [with] two Arjunas this world
मंस्यते सः सुयोधनःmaṃsyate saḥ suyodhanaḥthat Suyodhana shall reckon; that Suyodhana shall consider
अनुवाद

"Today the Kauravas shall behold my bow, [in] my swift hand, casting the finest arrows, like a wheel of fire. Seeing the slaughter of the soldiers, [whose] bodies are strewn with my arrows, [whose] blood flows abundantly, Suyodhana shall grieve. Today, [seeing] me terrible in aspect, smiting the best of the best, that Suyodhana shall reckon this world [as having] two Arjunas."
