तान् सर्वान् सहिताञ् शूरान् यतमानान् महारथान् ॥
पञ्चभिः पञ्चभिर् बाणैः पुनर् विव्याध सात्यकिः ॥
ततः स रथिनां श्रेष्ठस् तव पुत्रस्य सारथिम् ॥
आजघानाशु भल्लेन स हतो न्यपतद् भुवि ॥
पातिते सारथौ तस्मिंस् तव पुत्ररथः प्रभो ॥
वातायमानैस् तैर् अश्वैर् अपानीयत संगरात् ॥

tān sarvān sahitāñ śūrān yatamānān mahārathān ||
pañcabhiḥ pañcabhir bāṇaiḥ punar vivyādha sātyakiḥ ||
tataḥ sa rathināṃ śreṣṭhas tava putrasya sārathim ||
ājaghānāśu bhallena sa hato nyapatad bhuvi ||
pātite sārathau tasmiṃs tava putrarathaḥ prabho ||
vātāyamānais tair aśvair apānīyata saṃgarāt ||

तव पुत्रस्य सारथिम्tava putrasya sārathimyour son's charioteer; the charioteer of your son
आजघान आशु भल्लेनājaghāna āśu bhallenastruck swiftly with a broad-headed [arrow]; struck instantly with a bhalla
सः हतः न्यपतत् भुविsaḥ hataḥ nyapatat bhuvihe, slain, fell to the ground; he, struck down, fell to the earth
पातिते सारथौ तस्मिन्pātite sārathau tasmin[when] that charioteer was felled; with that charioteer felled
तव पुत्ररथः प्रभोtava putrarathaḥ prabhoyour son's chariot, O lord; the chariot of your son, O lord
वातायमानैः तैः अश्वैःvātāyamānaiḥ taiḥ aśvaiḥby those horses, [as] rushing like the wind; by those horses, racing like the wind
अपानीयत संगरात्apānīyata saṃgarātwas carried away [from] the battlefield; was carried away from the battlefield
अनुवाद

All of them together, united heroes, striving great warriors, Satyaki again pierced with five arrows each. Then he, the best of charioteers, swiftly struck your son's charioteer with a broad-headed arrow; struck down, he fell to the ground. When that charioteer was felled, your son's chariot, O lord, was carried away from the battlefield by those horses, rushing like the wind.
