译文
"Others, however, said: 'This splendid youth, like the trunk of a lordly elephant, with mighty shoulders, thighs, and arms, steadfast as Himavat — this deed is possible for him, and so it may be inferred from his resolve; his strength is of great resolve, for one incapable would not have come forward himself.'"

Here the discerning perceive the truth beneath appearance. Significant is their reasoning: from the youth's bearing and resolve they sense his power — "one incapable would not have come forward himself." Here is the gift of discernment: the wise judge not by rank but by the signs of true strength. Thus the scripture shows that there are those who see rightly; and among the doubters are found those who sense a hidden hero in the young brahmin.
