जगाम तत्र यत्रास्ते नारदः पाण्डवैः सह ॥

कृताञ्जलिः सुसंवीता स्थिताथ द्रुपदात्मजा ॥

Here the piety of a virtuous wife shows itself. It is telling that Draupadi 'purifies herself' before appearing before the holy one and is becomingly dressed: purity of body and heart befit one standing before a sage. Here is a model of reverence for the holy. Thus the scripture shows Draupadi's good conduct; and before the sage she stands in humility and composure.
