译文

'If there is anything to be done, here I am — command me!' Dhritarashtra said: 'O Vidura, Sanjaya has returned. He left after reproaching me. Tomorrow, in the midst of the court, he will deliver the message of Ajatashatru. Today I could not make out what the hero of the Kurus' message contains. Therefore my body burns, and this has caused me sleeplessness. Tell us what may be good for a man who cannot sleep and who burns. You, my child, are versed both in religion and in profit. Ever since Sanjaya returned from the Pandavas, my heart has known no peace. Filled with anxiety over what he may bring, all my senses have been thrown into disorder.' 'I hope, O king, that none of these grave misfortunes has befallen you. I hope you do not grieve, coveting another's wealth.' Dhritarashtra said: 'I wish to hear from you words that will be beneficial and full of the highest morality.'
