तद् रक्षः समरे विद्धं कृत्वा नादं भयावहम् ॥
अभ्यद्रवत् ततो भीमं ये च तस्य पदानुगाः ॥
स भीमं पञ्चभिर् विद्ध्वा शरैः संनतपर्वभिः ॥
भीमानुगाञ् जघानाशु रथांस् त्रिंशद् अरिंदमः ॥
पुनश् चतुःशतान् हत्वा भीमं विव्याध पत्रिणा ॥
सो ऽतिविद्धस् तदा भीमो राक्षसेन महाबलः ॥
निषसाद रथोपस्थे मूर्छयाभिपरिप्लुतः ॥

译文

That rakshasa, pierced in the battle, letting out a terrifying roar, then rushed upon Bhima and those who followed in his steps. Piercing Bhima with five smooth-jointed arrows, the tamer of foes swiftly slew Bhima's followers—thirty chariots. And then Bhima, the mighty one, sorely pierced by the rakshasa, sank upon the platform of his chariot, overcome by a swoon.
