स मुहूर्तम् इवाश्वस्य सदश्वान् समचोदयत् ॥
व्यपेतभीर् अमित्राणाम् आवहत् सुमहद् भयम् ॥
सात्यकिश् चाभ्यगात् तस्मात् स तु भीमम् उपाद्रवत् ॥
युयुधानो ऽपि राजेन्द्र द्रोणानीकाद् विनिःसृतः ॥
प्रययौ त्वरितस् तूर्णं काम्बोजानां महाचमूम् ॥
स तत्र बहुभिः शूरैः संनिरुद्धो महारथैः ॥
न चचाल तदा राजन् सात्यकिः सत्यविक्रमः ॥

He, having caught his breath as if for a moment, urged on his good horses; fearless, he roused exceedingly great fear among the foes. And Yuyudhana, o lord of kings, breaking out from Drona's ranks, sped on, hastening and swift, toward the great host of the Kambojas. Held back there by many heroes, by mighty warriors, Satyaki, of true valor, did not waver then, o king.
