सात्यकिस् तु तो द्रोणं भिर् र्वभिः
घा भृशं क्रुद्धो ध्वजं निशितैः रैः
साथिं तेनै भाद्वास्य श्यतः
लावं युयुधास्य दृष्ट्वा द्रोणो हाथः
प्तत्या सात्यकिं विद्ध्वा तुगांश् त्रिभिस् त्रिभिः
ध्वजम् के विव्या मास्य थे स्थितम्
थारे ल्ले हेपुङ्खे त्रिणा
नुश् चिच्छे रे मास्य हात्मनः

译文

And Satyaki then, greatly enraged, struck Drona with nine smooth-jointed arrows, and his banner with sharp arrows. Seeing Yuyudhana's swiftness, Drona, the great warrior, pierced Satyaki with seventy arrows and his horses with three each, then with another gold-feathered, winged, wide arrow cut through the bow of Madhava, the great-souled one, in the battle.
