हुभिस् तायाम् ते ताः प्रातन् भुवि
येषु तितेष्व् स्य चिच्छे मेषुणा
युधान्युर् नुः शीघ्रं रावापं संयुगे
ताश्वसूतात् थाद् प्लुत्य हाथः
दाम् दा ते पुत्रः पाञ्चाल्याव् भ्यधा
तम् न्तं संप्रेक्ष्य क्रुद्धं पुरंयम्
प्लुतौ थोस्थाद् युधान्यूत्तमौसौ

译文

He, having reached his brother's chariot, struck the horses of Duryodhana [with] many arrows; they, slain, fell [to] the ground. [When] his horses had fallen, Yudhamanyu swiftly cut the bow and the quiver [with] a supreme arrow, in the battle. Leaping down from that chariot [with its] slain horses [and] charioteer, the great warrior, your son, took up a mace and rushed at the two Panchalians. Seeing him charging, enraged, the conqueror of enemy cities, Yudhamanyu [and] Uttamaujas leapt down from the platform of their chariot.
