चिकालेप्सितं लोके युद्धम् द्यास्तु कौ
त्वते मे तिस् ता त्वयि युद्धाभिकाङ्क्षिणि
नात्वा संनिर्तिष्ये त्वाम् द्य पुरुषा
न्योन्यं तौ दा वाग्भिस् क्षन्तौ पुंवौ
जिघांसू क्रुद्धाव् भिघ्नतुर् वे

译文

"Hearing this roar, O hero, laughter arises in me. Let the battle so long desired in the world be now, O Kaurava. My mind hastens, dear one, since you crave battle; I shall not turn back today without slaying you, vilest of men." Those two bulls among men, lacerating each other with words, craving to slay each other, exceedingly enraged, struck each other in battle.
