译文

Having slain Alayudha, the rakshasa Ghatotkacha, his spirit uplifted, let out various war cries, standing at the head of the army. Hearing that tumultuous cry of his, which shook the elephants, among your men, O great king, there was most terrible fear. Seeing the mighty son of Bhimasena engaged with Alayudha, the mighty-armed Karna charged at the Panchalas. With ten arrows each — firm, shot at full draw, smooth-notched — he pierced Dhrishtadyumna and Shikhandin.
