श्रीभगवानुवाच ।
परं भूयः प्रवक्ष्यामि ज्ञानानां ज्ञानमुत्तमम् ।
यज्ज्ञात्वा मुनयः सर्वे परां सिद्धिमितो गताः ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
śrī-bhagavān uvāca |
paraṁ bhūyaḥ pravakṣyāmi jñānānāṁ jñānam uttamam |
yaj jñātvā munayaḥ sarve parāṁ siddhim ito gatāḥ ||
Word-by-word

परम्paramsupreme.
भूयःbhūyaḥagain, once more.
प्रवक्ष्यामिpravakṣyāmiI shall declare.
ज्ञानानाम्jñānānāmof all kinds of knowledge.
ज्ञानम् उत्तमम्jñānam uttamamknowledge (jnanam) that is best (uttamam).
यत् ज्ञात्वाyat jñātvāby knowing which.
मुनयः सर्वेmunayaḥ sarveall the sages.
पराम् सिद्धिम्parām siddhimto the highest perfection.
इतः गताःitaḥ gatāḥfrom here [from this world] they attained.
Translation
The Blessed Lord said: “Once again I shall declare to you this supreme knowledge, the best of all knowledge, by knowing which all the sages of old attained the highest perfection.”
