विक्रश्रुमाहात्म्यैः थम् योने तः
सुद्रायाः प्रियं नित्यं द्रौद्याः केस्य
दि पुत्रं श्यामि यास्यामि सानम्

vikramaśrutatmyaiḥ katham āyodhane hataḥ ||
subhadrāyāḥ priyaṃ nityaṃ draupadyāḥ keśavasya ca ||
yadi putraṃ na paśyāmi syāmi yamadanam ||

Translation

"Like the lion of the Vrishnis, to Keshava, the great of soul — in valor, learning, and majesty — how was he slain in battle? Ever dear to Subhadra, to Draupadi and to Keshava — if I do not see my son, I shall go to the abode of Yama."
