ततः सर्वेषु सैन्येषु वादित्राणि प्रहृष्टवत् ॥
प्रावाद्यन् समतिक्रान्ते तव पुत्रे धनंजयम् ॥
सिंहनादरवाश् चासञ् शङ्खदुन्दुभिमिश्रिताः ॥
दृष्ट्वा दुर्योधनं तत्र कृष्णयोः प्रमुखे स्थितम् ॥
ये च ते सिन्धुराजस्य गोप्तारः पावकोपमाः ॥
ते प्रहृष्यन्त समरे दृष्ट्वा पुत्रं तवाभिभो ॥
दृष्ट्वा दुर्योधनं कृष्णस् त्व् अतिक्रान्तं सहानुगम् ॥
अब्रवीद् अर्जुनं राजन् प्राप्तकालम् इदं वचः ॥

tataḥ sarveṣu sainyeṣu vāditrāṇi prahṛṣṭavat ||
prāvādyan samatikrānte tava putre dhanaṃjayam ||
siṃhanādaravāś cāsañ śaṅkhadundubhimiśritāḥ ||
dṛṣṭvā duryodhanaṃ tatra kṛṣṇayoḥ pramukhe sthitam ||
ye ca te sindhurājasya goptāraḥ pāvakopamāḥ ||
te prahṛṣyanta samare dṛṣṭvā putraṃ tavābhibho ||
dṛṣṭvā duryodhanaṃ kṛṣṇas tv atikrāntaṃ sahānugam ||
abravīd arjunaṃ rājan prāptakālam idaṃ vacaḥ ||

Traducción

Then in all the armies the [musical] instruments struck up joyfully, when your son had barred the way of Dhananjaya. And there were lion-roars mingled with conches and kettledrums, when Duryodhana was seen there standing before the two Krishnas. And those who were the protectors of the king of Sindhu, fire-like, rejoiced in the battle at the sight of your son, O lord. Having seen Duryodhana gone ahead with his retinue, Krishna then spoke to Arjuna, O king, this timely word.
