दुर्योनः कृष्ण द्रोणे विहिताम् माम्
तिष्ठत्य् भीवत् संख्ये बिभ्रत् धाणाम्
यत् त्व् त्र विहितं कार्यं नै तद् वेत्ति मा
स्त्रीवद् बिभर्त्य् तां युक्तां धाणाम्
श्य बाह्वोश् मे वीर्यं नुषश् नार्द
रायिष्ये कौव्यं चेनापि क्षितम्

eṣa duryodhanaḥ kṛṣṇa droṇena vihim imām ||
tiṣṭhaty abhītavat saṃkhye bibhrat kavacadhāraṇām ||
yat tv atra vihitaṃ ryaṃ naiṣa tad vetti dhava ||
strīvad eṣa bibharty etāṃ yuktāṃ kavacadhāraṇām ||
paśya hvoś ca me ryaṃ dhanuṣaś ca jardana ||
pajayiṣye kauravyaṃ kavacepi rakṣitam ||

Traducción

"This Duryodhana, Krishna, stands in battle as though fearless, wearing this armor arranged by Drona; but what rite is prescribed here he does not know, Madhava — like a woman he wears this armor bound to its rite. Behold the might of my two arms and of my bow, Janardana: I shall vanquish the Kauravya, though he be guarded by his mail."
