तत उच्छिद्यमानेषु भृगुष्व् एवं भयात् तदा ॥
भृगुपत्न्यो गिरिं तात हिमवन्तं प्रपेदिरे ॥
तासाम् अन्यतमा गर्भं भयाद् दाधार तैजसम् ॥
ऊरुणैकेन वामोरूर् भर्तुः कुलविवृद्धये ॥
ददृशुर् ब्राह्मणीं तां ते दीप्यमानां स्वतेजसा ॥

अनुवाद

'At such extermination of the Bhrigus, out of fear, their wives went to Mount Himavat; and one of them, the lovely-thighed one, out of fear carried in one thigh a fiery embryo for the increase of her husband's line. And the kshatriyas saw that brahmin woman, blazing with her own splendor.'
