Here the fellow-traveling brahmins call the Pandavas to go together to the festival. It is telling that they at once invite strangers into their company: pious wanderers are open-hearted and share the road with those they meet. Here is the blessing of good company (sat-sanga): on the way to a holy festival the righteous join together. It is also telling that providence brings the Pandavas together with those who lead them straight to Draupadi. So the scripture shows that even good companionship is a thread of destiny; and the brahmins, without knowing it, are leading the destined ones to their bride.
