सज्यं च चक्रे निमिषान्तरेण; शरांश् च जग्राह दशार्धसंख्यान् ॥

Here what was impossible for many is accomplished in a single instant. It is significant that what mighty kings had failed at, Arjuna accomplishes "in the blink of an eye": for one truly skilled, the hardest task is easy. In this lies the fact that true power is not strained: where the weak struggled, the strong act without effort. Thus the scripture shows Arjuna's striking superiority; and the pierced mark silently proclaims the victor whom they had sought in vain among the crowned kings.
