अनुवाद
Krishna said: “A family task, O great king, is carried by some one — the pillar of the clan; at his behest we three have risen up. And you, O king, have abducted kshatriyas, dwellers of the world; having committed that cruel wrong, how do you think yourself blameless?”

Here Krishna points to the deed itself as the guilt: your cruel act is your sin. It is telling that guilt is measured not by personal offense against an enemy but by the wrong done to others: a crime against the innocent is a crime against all. Thus scripture shows that harming others does not leave one blameless; what follows concerns the assault upon kings.
