स्वर्गम् आस्थाय कस्य स्यात्svargam āsthāya kasya syāthaving set his goal on heaven, who would have

Here the enemy is given a final warning: do not scorn your opponent. It is telling that Krishna, even while threatening, still cautions him: pride that deems itself uniquely strong is blind to the valor of others. Thus scripture shows that even in the hour of battle there remains room for warning; what follows is a call to set aside arrogance.
