मय्य् अपेक्षा न कर्तव्या कथं चिद् अपि सात्वत ॥
राजन्य् एव परा गुप्तिः कार्या सर्वात्मना त्वया ॥
न हि यत्र महाबाहुर् वासुदेवो व्यवस्थितः ॥
किं चिद् व्यापद्यते तत्र यत्राहम् अपि च ध्रुवम् ॥

mayy apekṣā na kartavyā kathaṃ cid api sātvata ||
rājany eva parā guptiḥ kāryā sarvātmanā tvayā ||
na hi yatra mahābāhur vāsudevo vyavasthitaḥ ||
kiṃ cid vyāpadyate tatra yatrāham api ca dhruvam ||

अनुवाद

"No care should be taken for me in any way whatsoever, O Satvata; let the highest guard be exercised by you with your whole being for the king alone. For where the mighty-armed Vasudeva stands, and where I too am, nothing, surely, comes to harm."
