यत् तस्य घटमानस्य क्षिप्रं विक्षिपतः शरान् ॥
लाघवात् पाण्डुपुत्रस्य व्यस्मयन्त परे जनाः ॥
हस्तिनं हस्तियन्तारम् अश्वम् आश्विकम् एव च ॥
अभिनत् फल्गुनो बाणै रथिनं च ससारथिम् ॥
आवर्तमानम् आवृत्तं युध्यमानं च पाण्डवः ॥
प्रमुखे तिष्ठमानं च न कं चिन् न निहन्ति सः ॥
yat tasya ghaṭamānasya kṣipraṃ vikṣipataḥ śarān ||
lāghavāt pāṇḍuputrasya vyasmayanta pare janāḥ ||
hastinaṃ hastiyantāram aśvam āśvikam eva ca ||
abhinat phalguno bāṇai rathinaṃ ca sasārathim ||
āvartamānam āvṛttaṃ yudhyamānaṃ ca pāṇḍavaḥ ||
pramukhe tiṣṭhamānaṃ ca na kaṃ cin na nihanti saḥ ||
That which -- in him, striving, swiftly hurling arrows -- from the swiftness of the son of Pandu, the enemies marveled at. The elephant and its driver, the horse and its rider, Phalguna pierced with arrows, and the chariot-warrior together with his charioteer. Turning, turned about, and fighting, and standing before him -- he leaves none unslain.

Even the enemies "vyasmayanta", marveled at Arjuna's swiftness: his valor wrings admiration even from his foes. "Na kaṃ cit na nihanti", "he leaves none unslain" -- the fullness of accomplishment. It is telling that skill born of austerity and grace is acknowledged even by those it destroys. The verse teaches that true perfection is undeniable: it evokes wonder even in enemies; and the fruits of long striving, sheltered by the Lord, are so evident that enmity itself falls silent before them in involuntary admiration.
