देवनागरी

ताव् अविध्यत् ततो भोजः सर्वपारशवैः शरैः ॥
त्रिभिर् एव युधामन्युं चतुर्भिश् चोत्तमौजसम् ॥
ताव् अप्य् एनं विव्यधतुर् दशभिर् दशभिः शरैः ॥
संचिच्छिदतुर् अप्य् अस्य ध्वजं कार्मुकम् एव च ॥

tāv avidhyat tato bhojaḥ sarvapāraśavaiḥ śaraiḥ ||
tribhir eva yudhāmanyuṃ caturbhiś cottamaujasam ||
tāv apy enaṃ vivyadhatur daśabhir daśabhiḥ śaraiḥ ||
saṃcicchidatur apy asya dhvajaṃ kārmukam eva ca ||

अनुवाद

Then Bhoja pierced them with all-iron arrows -- three at Yudhamanyu, four at Uttamaujas. And the two of them pierced him in turn with ten arrows apiece, and cut down his banner and his bow.
